One thing is certain in the world of telecommunications: things will keep changing.  Today, we have the option to choose who will provide dial tone to our businesses. Many new vendors are offering savings over the traditional dial tone providers, along with more flexible billing options and other incentives.

Saving money sounds good, but what are the pitfalls in changing local service providers?

We work with our clients to identify the benefits and drawbacks in making such a change. We analyze proposals to determine the real savings, and identify the areas where there is risk with the change.  This allows our clients to make an informed decision, and to proceed with realistic expectations.

If our client makes the decision to change providers, we can provide project management for the change.  We have found that end users have very little tolerance for dial tone failures, and we work with our clients to provide the smoothest transition possible. As with every other aspect of telecommunications, these transitions are not simple.  Many different areas must be coordinated to prevent a lack of service.
