The Society of Telecommunications Consultants (STC) is a premier organization of ethicallybased, professional, independent telecommunications consultants. Each member is required annually to sign an STC Code Of Ethics that distinguishes an STC consultant from others in the field.
Members are required to be independent and are restricted under the Code of Ethics from selling any product or service other than independent services.
Swartz Consulting, LLC is an active member and adheres to the Code of Ethics.
Membership requirements are stringent. Applicants are carefully screened by a process that includes:
- Reference checks with 10 clients, who are asked about the technical expertise and ethical behavior of the prospective member.
- Investigation into the character, professional background, and experience within the telecommunications industry of a prospective member.
- Review and comments from existing members concerning the prospective member’s ethical standards and level of experience.
- The applicant must sign the STC Code of Ethics and agree to strict adherence to the code.
